I have been searching for the perfect mascara for years. From MAC to Christian Dior, I have found really great mascaras but not the perfect one. I decided to try Yves Saint Laurent, and In Style recommended the Effet Faux Cils.

It is the best mascara I have ever used long-term. Others have always started out great, but after a few weeks get clumpy and average. I have been using the YSL for almost three months now, and it is still as good as the day I opened it. The brush is thick and sturdy, allowing for easy strokes and application. It does not clump at all and has a little bit of a fragrant smell to it, but not too strong. The most important thing I was looking for in a mascara was for it to serve several purposes. I don’t want to use one mascara for work and every day looks and another for going out and events. This product does just that. It’s perfect for every day but it also gives that dramatic look for events and nights out.
